Period-end reconciliation reference generation
This document describes the reconciliation methodology used by EnergyCompute to produce period-end reconciliation references.
Reconciliation references provide a consistent, verifiable record of energy-compute exposure for each actor and period.
Reconciliation follows a three-phase process:
Each reconciliation reference is issued once per actor per period. References are immutable. Corrections are issued as superseding references.
Each reconciliation reference contains the following fields:
References are issued at period end following consolidation. Each reference receives a unique identifier and timestamp.
Issued references cannot be modified. Any correction requires issuance of a new reference with supersession linkage.
When a reference is superseded, the original reference status changes to "Superseded" and the new reference includes a supersession pointer.
Observations rely on machine-native signals aggregated across infrastructure layers. Consolidation is performed at period end. Internal units and weighting models are not publicly disclosed.
