1. Purpose

This document specifies the observation framework operated by EnergyCompute for energy-backed compute exposure.

The framework provides infrastructure-grade observation across multiple actor categories and infrastructure layers.

2. Scope

Observation covers the following actor categories:

Category Scope Tag Layer
Datacenter EC-DC Rack & scheduler layer
Cloud GPU EC-CLOUD GPU allocation layer
Runtime Agents EC-RT Orchestration layer
Broker EC-BRK Brokerage / settlement layer

3. Observed Metrics

3.1 Datacenter (EC-DC)

3.2 Cloud GPU (EC-CLOUD)

3.3 Runtime Agents (EC-RT)

3.4 Broker (EC-BRK)

4. Methodology

Observations rely on machine-native signals aggregated across infrastructure layers. Consolidation is performed at period end. Internal units and weighting models are not publicly disclosed.

Signal collection occurs continuously. Aggregation windows align with calendar periods (monthly). Consolidation produces a single reference per actor per period.

5. Output

The observation framework produces:

6. Non-Alignment Context

Current market conditions exhibit:

EnergyCompute standardizes observation and reconciliation so infrastructure operators and orchestrators converge on a consistent reference.
